Automatic Feedback

Vendsta can leave positive feedback for your customers automatically. You can set it up in Preferences → Feedback.

When feedback is left

Choose one of these events under Leave Feedback After:

• Order complete: once the customer has paid.
• Order marked as dispatched
• Positive feedback received: once the customer has left you positive feedback.

Automatic feedback is always positive.

The feedback message

eBay limits feedback to 80 characters. You can personalise it with two variables:

• {{first_name}}: the customer's first name
• {{username}}: the customer's eBay username

No other variables can be used in feedback.

If adding a variable would take a message over 80 characters, or eBay rejects the name or username, the feedback is left without the variable. Write your message so it still makes sense without it, for example:

Great customer, fast payment! Thanks {{first_name}}
