Low Stock Alerts
Vendsta keeps an eye on the quantity left on each of your listings and warns you before something sells out.
The low stock list
When any listing or variation is low, a Low stock list appears at the top of your Products page. It's sorted with the most urgent first:
- out-of-stock listings
- how many are left
- roughly how many days that will last, based on how fast it has sold over the last 30 days
Choosing when to be warned
A listing counts as low when its quantity drops to your low stock number or below. It's 3 to start with. Change it in the Low stock list, or on Preferences → Notifications.
To use a different number for one listing, set it on that product's page.
Alerts
You're alerted once each time a listing's stock drops to the low stock number. If it goes back up and drops again later, you're alerted again. Low stock alerts can be sent:
- by email, Slack, Discord or webhook, if you've added a channel with Low stock ticked. See Instant Notifications.
- in your digest, which lists your low stock listings
